Lake Worth police have arrested a man suspected in more than 30 thefts across North Texas.
During the yearlong investigation, detectives say Walter Gene Whitehead II frequently visited major retail stores and say he stole things like smart watches and digital cameras.
Police are calling him a serial thief and say he was involved in 10 thefts in Lake Worth alone.
Whitehead is also facing narcotics charges out of Parker County, and more theft charges out of Fort Worth.
