Tarrant County Judge Tim O'Hare has announced his re-election bid.
O'Hare has launched his re-election bid with $400,000 cash on hand according to his campaign.
"Since taking office in 2023, O'Hare has led the charge to restore limited government, protect taxpayer dollars, and uphold the values that Tarrant County families hold dear," his campaign wrote in an announcement.
The conservative politician went on to say that he has supported key election improvements implemented by the Tarrant County Elections Office and has led the charge to restore limited government.
Redistricting in Tarrant County that has been pushed by O'Hare is the subject of a federal lawsuit. O'Hare said recently that new boundaries reflect Tarrant County's conservative majority.
His campaign says he has received the endorsement of several lawmakers including Senator Ted Cruz and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick.
