WHITE SETTLEMENT (1080 KRLD) - A Haltom City teen is shot to death overnight in White Settlement.
Police say the 16-year-old boy, identified as Latroy Lewis, and his 15-year-old brother were walking in the neighborhood of Colton Dr. and South Grants Ln.
Shortly before 5:00 a.m., a man driving a white or silver sedan pulled up and exchanged words with the two.
The driver then shot Lewis in the chest and drove off.
Lewis was taken to Harris Hospital Downtown, where he died at around 5:30 a.m.
At this time, the nature of the conversation that preceded the deadly shooting is unknown..
Investigators are canvassing the area, trying to get more information on exactly what happened.
