Texans stone gunman to death after he opens fire at a party: police

Two people have been killed after a fight broke out at a party where police say one person was shot and killed, and another was stoned to death.

Fort Worth Police say it all started just before 1:00 a.m. when a 911 caller reported that people had been shot at a home on Shiloh Drive near Bryant Irvin and West Vickery.

Police arrived to find a chaotic scene. At least two people were dead. One had been shot while another had been killed by stoning.

Police say they were told people were socializing when someone pulled a gun and opened fire, killing one person and wounding two others.

The reports say at that point an angry mob descended on the gunman and pummelled him with stones, killing him at the scene.

Investigators spent the night out there and it's too early to say what charges might come out of this.
