A McKinny man's only hope to get out of prison for sexually abusing a child is to live past age 100 after the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals upheld a Collin County jury's findings.

Three years ago a jury found 53-year old Jimmy Tucker guilty of a battery of charges. He was convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child, nine counts of sexual assault of a child, and three counts of prohibited sexual contact.

The jury then went on to impose a 50-year prison term that does not carry the possibility of parole. The victim was a 12-year old girl when Tucker began 8-years of sexual assault. She finally reported it at age 20.

The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals declined to hear any of Tucker's cases without comment.
