Texas Governor Greg Abbott, along with the Texas National Guard and Texas Department of Public Safety got an aerial tour of the Texas-Mexico border Monday in Eagle Pass.

The visit comes on the same day that President Joe Biden wanted to end Title 42, an immigration restriction provision that has been used to expel migrants. But a federal judge in Louisiana issued a nationwide injunction that keeps the order from ending.

Abbott started Operation Lone Star last year, which he says has been a tremendous succes. He says agents have apprehended more than 200,000 migrants so far and arrested more than 11,000, including cartel members. Agents have seized enough fentanyl to could kill every man, woman and child in the country according to Abbott.

Abbott also said 45 buses from the border have now taken migrants to Washington, D.C. and he is ready to add buses from Eagle Pass.

Eagle Pass, a city of about 29,000, sits in the second-busiest region for migration along with the neighboring city of Del Rio, according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
