Texas gun rights expert on President Biden's executive orders

Calling gun violence in America an "epidemic," President Joe Biden announced a series of executive orders in response on Thursday.

The president is tightening regulations for so-called "ghost guns," homemade firearms that usually are assembled from parts without serial numbers - and tightening regulations on pistol-stabilizing braces, like the one used by the Boulder, Colorado, shooter in a rampage that left 10 dead last month.

Gun-control advocates praised the actions but said much more must be done in Congress - where the chances of passing legislation are considered dicey.

Attorney Edwin Walker is a Texas gun rights expert. He is critical of the president's executive orders, saying he believes the action will be ineffective in corraling gun violence.

And, Walker said he expects President Biden and his allies to pursue additional steps to restrict gun ownership in the U.S. He spoke with KRLD's Chris Sommer
