A social media infuencer from North Texas is being sued by the state of Texas over alleged deceptive business practices that began back in 2014.
The Texas Attorney General's office claims Brittany Dawn Davis violated consumer protection laws when she sold online fitness packages that cost up to $300 and "failed to provide the promised coaching and check-ins" to hundreds of customers.
Customers allege they were ignored after they sought refunds.
The lawuit was filed February 1st and seeks up to a million dollars in penalties and court fees.
