The commuter rail line in Tarrant County is celebrating its fourth birthday today with free rides for passengers.

TEXRail is a hybrid rail line in Tarrant County that provides service between downtown Fort Worth and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport via Grapevine and other Tarrant County communities. They offer free limited parking at all stations except for Fort Worth Central Station and DFW Airport’s Terminal B.

People can ride TEXRail free through next Monday, Januray 16th. Trinity Metro was also holding birthday parties at stations this morning, where many passengers say they started using TEXRail to get to the airport, but they now use it more to avoid traffic, even on weekends.

People can also use Zip-Zone free in areas that connect to a train station.

TEXRail opened it's service from downtown Fort Worth to DFW Airport on January 10th, 2019.
