Thursday night's performance of the musical "Hamilton" at Bass Hall in Forth Worth was canceled because of weather conditions, leaving many people frustrated -- not about the cancellation itself but about the last-minute announcement.

As late as Wednesday afternoon, the Bass Hall Twitter feed confirmed there was no intention to cancel either the Wednesday or Thursday performances despite deteriorating weather conditions. Wednesday's performance went on but Thursday night, just a half-hour before showtime, the announcement came that the show would not go on.

Much of the audience was already seated, having fought through the icy conditions to get there. Many of those ticket-holders unloaded on Bass Hall management with sentiments like "horrendous management," "very poorly done" and "monumental mismanagement."
