American Heroes: A Salute to Veterans & First Responders is a weekend of celebration with activities for all ages at The Colony Five Star Complex. Main Stage musical performances include country superstar Lauren Alaina and alternative rock sensation Plain White T’s. Pay tribute to veterans and active service members. Clint Eastwood - A Cinematic Legacy
WarnerMedia presents this exhibition of props and costumes from 50 years of filmmaking at Warner Bros., along with memorabilia from Clint Eastwood's personal collection. DSO: The Concert Truck
Back by popular demand, the DSO and The Concert Truck are presenting collaborative community concerts across the city, featuring musicians of the DSO and other arts organizations. Festival at the Switchyard
The Festival at the Switchyard honors the critical role the railroad played in putting Carrollton on the map and the continuing importance of rail in Carrollton's present and future. Fort Worth Marathon
The Fort Worth Marathon is a non-profit organization. The Marathon is an annual running event that raises funds to fight childhood obesity in the Tarrant County area and in the school systems. The Fort Worth Marathon course is certified by the USA Track and Field Association and can be used to QUALIFY for the Boston Marathon. It is a flat out and back course along the Trinity River. They have food trucks, hot showers, LIVE MUSIC and FREE MONEY give away!!! There are various distances: 5K, Half Marathon, 20 Miler and full Marathon.

George W. Bush Presidential Center: Out of Many, One
While permanent exhibits at the George W. Bush Presidential Center (like the Oval Office, etc) are closed due to COVID right now... an exhibit called, "Out of Many, One: Portraits of America's Immigrants" is available. The exhibit includes 43 portraits painted by George W. Bush, statistics about immigration and policy recommendations. Out of Many, One includes paintings of celebrities like Dirk Nowitzki, Henry Kissinger and Madeleine Albright and lesser known immigrants who may know the former president personally. Included with the paintings are stories about how each person adjusted to life in America.

The highly-anticipated Immersive Van Gogh experience opens this weekend. It’s 500,000 cubic feet of monumental projections animating Vincent van Gogh’s oeuvre. Wander through entrancing, moving images that highlight brushstrokes, detail, and color – truly illuminating the mind of the genius.
You will be immersed in Van Gogh’s works – from his sunny landscapes and night scenes to his portraits and still life paintings. The Stockyards Championship Rodeo
Grab your boots and Cowboy hat! This rodeo is back! The live and kicking rodeo is every Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m. (Friday...it’s “Free Kid Friday”...buy an adult ticket and get a kid’s ticket free!) It's in the Cowtown Coliseum. Veterans Day Parade in Grapevine
Salute military veterans at the annual Veterans Day Parade, Saturday, November 6 at 10 a.m. in Historic Downtown Grapevine. Veterans and citizens are invited to experience this meaningful day for our country’s military servicemen and women. This year’s parade will honor and give thanks to those who have been presented a Purple Heart Medal for their selfless sacrifices and commendable action. A Purple Heart, conferred to those who have been wounded while serving in the U.S. military, has been given to more than 1.8 million service members since the award was created in 1782. Purple Heart Vietnam veteran Eric Newton will serve as the parade’s Grand Marshal.
