DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A third person has been charged with capital murder in connection with the death of a former Texas Tech basketball stand-out Andre Emmett.
One year ago, Emmett was gunned down outside his Dallas home. Police said he was robbed at gunpoint, sitting inside his own SUV. As he tried to run, he was shot in the back.
Last year, two men -- Keith Johnson and Michael Lucky -- were indicted on capital murder charges. Now, a third man -- Larry Jenkins -- has also been arrested on the same charge.
After graduating from Dallas Carter High School, Emmett played four seasons under Bob Knight at Tech. His NBA career was limited to 14 games with the New Jersey Nets and Memphis Grizzlies.
