An East Dallas apartment complex has heavy damage from a late night three-alarm fire Monday evening.
Just before 11 p.m. Dallas Fire-Rescue got 9-1-1 calls about a fire at the Courts of Swiss, a complex on Peak Street near Swiss Avenue.
Pulling up, firefighters saw flames spouting from the roof of one of the two-story buildings.
Commanders almost immediately added a second alarm and then a third to bring in more manpower and other emergency services.
The fire was doused but firefighters stayed on scene most of the night to keep an eye out for hot spots. No injuries were reported.
