It's a big, soggy mess in northeast Dallas where two dozen Dallas apartment units have been destroyed in a late night three-alarm fire.
Just before 11:00 p.m. firefighters responded to 911 calls and found heavy fire through the roof when they pulled up to the Forest Hills Apartments on Forest Lane between I-635 and Audelia.
Both directions of Forest Lane were closed for several hours because of the fire rigs parked in front of the building pouring on the water.
The fire was declared out around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday. Even with 24 units destroyed, no one was reported hurt.
