At least three people have injuries suffered in yesterday's severe weather in east Texas.
Investigators believe two tornadoes touched down in Rusk County and neighboring Panola County. Numerous trees were toppled and structural damage is extensive.
The Rusk County Office of Emergency Management reported a confirmed tornado with damage in Mount Enterprise.
OEM director Michael Searcy confirmed one serious injury of a person who was apparently struck by a tree.
Drenching rains were part of the system. In Longview, two vehicles were stranded in high water. One of them was a pick-up. The two occupants had to climb into the bed as the water reached near the top of the tires.
