White Settlement police have now tracked down the three wanted men they've been looking for since Saturday when a gunbattle broke out in front of a home on Albert Street near I-30 and Cherry Lane.

Police reports say while officers were on the way, another 9-1-1 call came in from a man in his car saying he was being chased by another car and someone was shooting at him. Dispatchers told him to drive to the police department for protection.

While police were inspecting his bullet-riddled car they found out the driver, Angel Pimienta, had a firearm of his own. He claimed he'd come to the shootout scene to support a friend who was going to be in a fight.

Back at the Albert Street crime scene, officers found 16 spent shell casings from the gunbattle.

For the next several days, police followed up on leads. In one instance, they found a car pockmarked by bullet holes parked in plain sight by one of the men they were looking for. They went up to the house and arrested Jason Davis who had been recently let out on bail from several felony arrests in July.

They also arrested Pimienta and a third man named John Aguilar. All three of them are locked up on felony counts of Deadly Conduct.

Detectives are investigating the possible involvement of the same men in another gunbattle on Albert Street in June.
