President Donald Trump is scheduled to visit the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington at noon today, meeting more than a dozen Medal of Honor recipients and delivering remarks before returning to Dallas for the second night of the Republican midterm convention.
White House pool guidance lists a museum tour at noon and remarks at 12:30 p.m. Central Time. C-SPAN scheduled live coverage of the remarks for 1:30 p.m. Eastern, matching the local time. NBC 5 reported he will be joined by members of Congress, national and local leaders, and supporters of the monument, and that he is expected to “honor the extraordinary courage and distinguished service of these American heroes.”
The museum sits at 1861 AT&T Way in Arlington’s entertainment district, near AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field. The U.S. Army said the $270 million, 100,000-square-foot site opened in March 2025 as the only museum devoted solely to Medal of Honor recipients.

NBC 5 reports roads around the museum are expected to close during the visit and that a temporary flight restriction is in place for drones. Officials have not released a public motorcade map. Drivers between Dallas and the Mid-Cities should plan extra time around midday. The Secret Service typically controls presidential movements. No injuries have been reported in connection with the visit.
Trump arrived in North Texas on Wednesday for the first-ever GOP midterm convention at American Airlines Center. He spoke Wednesday night and is listed to close the event Thursday evening. Vice President JD Vance is also on the Dallas program.
