Two 18-year-old Mesquite residents have died and a third man was wounded in a shooting early Wednesday morning, police say.
Police say officers found the two victims with gunshot wounds on Amber Springs Drive shortly after midnight. Both were taken to Baylor Hospital where they later died.
A 20-year-old man later showed up at a local Mesquite emergency room with gunshot wounds. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Mesquite Police Investigators believe it was a family dispute that escalated into a fight, and shots were fired.
The shooting remains under investigation.
