Two men have been captured more than two weeks after a drive-by shooting in Lake Worth.

On the night of October 30th, Lake Worth police say a car drove down the block on Caddo Trail and someone opened fire out the window leaving a trail of damage and spent shell casings.

The car got away and police have been working on this ever since. Now, a Lake Worth man named Damien Hurtado has been arrested and charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

During the arrest, police found a handgun in Hurtado's waistband matching the type and caliber of the weapon used in the drive-by.

A second man has also been charged. Police do not believe Randy Ponce was there the night of the drive-by. But he's accused of making a false report to investigators when he withheld information and denied knowing anything about it.
