Two Dallas police officers have been fired, and part of the reason is because they turned off their body cameras.
Dallas Police say the first was Senior Corporal Lontrell Tatum. He was fired for inappropriate use of force against a citizen, using profane or indecent language with a citizen, failing to secure a prisoner for transport with a seatbelt, violating the department's body-worn camera policy, giving conflicting or misleading statements on the use of OC spray and then not giving prison medical attention after using the spray.
Officer Carlos Romero was fired for making inappropriate or sexual comments to a woman during a call for service and violating the department's body-worn camera policy.
