Fort Worth police are sorting out a complicated shooting that was actually two shootings.
On Monday night, just past 8:30 p.m. Fort Worth police got a 911 call about a shooting at a home on Humbert Avenue in the Como neighborhood. About the same time, there was another shooting at the Lincoln Terrace Apartments five blocks away.
Police connected the dots and determined the people involved in both shootings knew one another. They determined it started when someone threw a rock at a car in the apartment parking lot.
The driver of the car went to the house on Humbert and opened fire. A juvenile outside was hit. An adult went into the house to get a gun and returned fire. A woman in the car was hit.
Both the woman and the juvenile were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released and no arrests have been announced.
