Police have arrested two men in connection with a deadly shooting at a Lewisville bar last month.
Officers from both Lewisville and Carrollton were called to the Chill Bar and Grill on I-35E on December 30th to break up a large fight. Once officers got the scene under control, they found 35-year-old Viron Prescott Ellison had been shot several times. He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries.
Investigators identified a vehicle leaving the scene that they believed was driven by the suspects. They tracked that car to Dallas and made two arrests on Monday. 23-year-old Clint Dennis Charles, Junior and 20-year-old James Williams Dipple are both being held at the Lewisville City Jail on a charge of murder. Bond for both has been set at $500,000.
During the arrest on Monday, police also say they found a handgun inside the car. They believe it's the gun that was used in the shooting.
