MCKINNEY (1080 KRLD)- Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a fire that damaged several homes that were under construction in McKinney last month.
The fire ripped through the Bloomridge development on Marigold Drive near Lake Forest Drive and US 380 on the night of June 25th.
No one was hurt in the fire, but it destroyed seven homes under construction and damaged several more before firefighters got it under control.
The Collin County Fire Marshal's Office and the Collin County Sheriff's Office worked with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on the investigation. The recently arrested two suspects, both juveniles, on charges of felony criminal mischief.
The suspects' names are not being released because of their ages. The cases will be handled by the juvenile justice system.
