Two women are locked up in Dallas County, accused of capital murder in the death of a woman whose remains were found near Lancaster four months ago.

Due to the state of decomposition, the Medical Examiner has not yet been able to determine the cause of Sidney Palmer's death.

Frances Martinez and Alexis Pryor are now jailed on charges of capital murder and of abusing a corpse.

Investigators suggest this may have been a love triangle killing, saying the victim had been in a relationship with a man named Joel Perez -- who is also behind bars on a list of charges including abuse of a corpse.

Detectives say that Perez recently started dating Pryor at the time Palmer was killed.
