IRVING (1080 KRLD)- Irving police say two young women and a dog died, in a wrong way crash today.
Police say a 23-year-old woman was headed Northbound in the Southbound lanes of State Highway161 when she crashed head-on into another car. The 21-year-old driver of the other car is in critical condition, but his passengers - 19-year-old Esmeralda Rauda, and 21-year-old Valentina Nerea died, along with a dog in the car.
Police say the suspect, Yasmin Olvera, is in the hospital with serious injuries. Police expect to charge her with two counts of intoxication manslaughter, and one count of intoxication assault.
