The City of Dallas will resume operation of a community COVID-19 vaccination site in the overflow parking lot of the Potter's House church today.
The city expects to give out 5,000 first doses of the Moderna vaccine at the location through Saturday with its partner, American Medical Response.
Patients will need an appointment in advance and will have to be registered on Dallas County's waiting list.
People age 50 and older are now eligible for the vaccine in Texas.
Dallas plans to begin offering second doses of the vaccine to people at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center next week.
