The victim killed in a Forest Hill shooting Sunday morning has now been identified as a teenage girl who was sleeping in her own bed at the time.

Police say 15-year-old Talia Fields was struck in the chest and died at the scene. The gunfire came from outside the families home and police say the killer was long gone when they arrived.

About an hour later, reports say there was more gunfire about a mile away. No one was hurt there.

Police did get a description, saying the gunman was either Hispanic or African-American with a shirt tied around his head and a large tattoo on his chest.

Detectives can't say for sure it's the same man in both incidents but they're hoping neighbors at both scenes might have security camera video showing the man they're looking for.
