Wear red today for American Heart Association's 'Go Red for Women' day

Don't be surprised if you see more people wearing red today. There's a good reason for it.

Today is the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women." It brings awareness to the risk factors of heart disease and celebrates survivors.

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women with nearly 45% of those over the age of 20 living with some form of heart disease or stroke.

There are three ways to show your support: Wear red, celebrate survivors and supporters, or donate to the American Heart Association.
