WESTWORTH VILLAGE (1080 KRLD)- The cause of a spectacular house fire in Fort Worth over the weekend is still not clear.
Firefighters were sent to a home on Trinity Oaks Road in Westworth Village near the Naval Air Station. They found the fire was already through the roof. They briefly rushed inside but commanders quickly ordered everyone out -- and to be sure everyone was safe, they took an immediate head count.
Satisfied no one was left in danger, they started pouring on the water with high-pressure water cannon and high overhead hoses.
The homeowners were gone, so once the fire was out, fire crews began to salvage whatever of the family's belongings they could including a variety of Bibles, other books, files and household goods.
