On Wednesday, the Dallas City Council again takes up an issue that has grown increasingly contentious short-term rentals.
City leaders have been looking at options that would make everyone happy, including restricting such rentals in certain neighbors.
Some residents claim they have the right to list their home on short-term rental sites like AirBnB, VRBO, etc. Others contend allowing the rentals leads to unwanted noise and neighborhood congestion, creating an unfavorable living environment.
Dallas city officials have struggled to come up with a workable solution, and at Wednesday's meeting, they are sure to hear passionate pleas from both sides.
The KRLD Morning News discussed the issue with attorney Dave Wishnew from the local firm Crawford, Wishnew and Lang.
