People really don't let the leftovers get cold on Thanksgiving before they start planning out their shopping plans for Black Friday.
New research finds there will be some people waiting in line, or getting online really early in the morning on Black Friday to find some deals. That day still does bring some incredible bargains on Christmas presents.
Almost half of people say they've been planning their strategies for Black Friday a week ago and 30% planned two weeks ago. The earliest shoppers in Texas will start at 5:11 in the morning on Friday. That's nothing compared to shoppers in South Dakota.
They'll fire up their computers as early as one in the morning. More than 40% of people will end up shaking their fists at their computers because their internet speed can't seem to keep up with the deals, and they'll miss out if it's a doorbuster deal.
And then there's this...
What kind of shopper are you for the holidays?
There's a new poll out that divides those shoppers into four different categories. Most Black Friday shoppers are the "bargain hunters." They are making sure they find the best deals and promotions on Black Friday
A quarter of people are the "early birds." They're the people who like to get their Christmas shopping done early, so Black Friday might be their last chance to find something on sale.
Then, it's down to a tie for third place. They're either "year-round gatherers" who find gifts all year long or "last-minute" shoppers who wait til the absolute last minute.
