A 19-year-old Balch Springs woman has been indicted for murder in the death of a 79-year-old woman in what may have been a misdirected attack.
Court records say Kimberly Garcia had told police she and several others planned to fire shots into the home of her ex-boyfriend but opened fire on the wrong house. Gloria Roque, 79, was shot in the back as she sat on her couch.
Garcia could face life in prison.
