Dallas police are looking for a suspect after a woman was shot near an illegal street racing event overnight.
Late Sunday, just before midnight, a car was being driven erratically in the intersection of Duncanville Road and West Ledbetter.
Dallas Police say a pedestrian identified as 54-year-old Lynetta Washington was struck by gunfire after someone opened fire.
Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and pronounced the victim died at the scene.
The unidentified gunman took off and police are still looking for him.
