A ten-year-old girl is in a Fort Worth hospital with serious injuries caused by the Monday crash that killed a woman near Weatherford.
Officials say Melanie Scott died when the car she was driving was broad-sided by a commercial truck on Old Agnes Road.
Investigators say Scott made a left turn in front of the oncoming truck. She was killed at the scene.
Her ten-year-old passenger was rushed to the hospital but there have been no updates on the girl's condition.
