A woman is recovering in a Fort Worth hospital after she was slashed by an attacker with a knife Tuesday night.
About 8 p.m. police got a 9-1-1 call from a woman who said her sister had been cut during a quarrel with another woman in the hallway of a Motel 6 on I-35 in south Fort Worth.
Police got there and found the victim bleeding from a cut on her arm. She was taken to the hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators determined the victim and the other woman first argued and then began to fight. They stopped long enough to step outside and then resumed the fight in the parking lot. That's when the other woman pulled a knife and slashed the victim on the left forearm.
The attacker then got away in a car and remains on the run.
