In Garland a woman's body has been pulled from a creek where her car became trapped in rising water over the weekend.
With some ferocious rain Saturday night and Sunday morning, the water in Spring Creek just kept rising above the roadway.
Garland fire Battalion Chief Mike VanBuskir say the victim had called 911 about 2:00 a.m. saying her car was on the Holford Road bridge over Spring Creek.
Before firefighters could get to the woman, the car was washed off the bridge and was swept downstream.
The car was found about 7 a.m. but the 911 caller was not inside.
The serarch continued all day and the woman's body was spotted and eventiually recoverd Sunday afternoon.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner will have to make the formal identficiation.
