FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD)- A wrong-way driver has died in a crash on I-20 in Fort Worth.

Just before 9 p.m. Thursday, a pick-up got turned around on I-20 and started heading east in the west bound lanes where drivers were swerving to avoid a collision.
Finally, though, the pick-up did slam head-on into a another vehicle near I-35. Police arrived to find the wrong-way driver was already dead. The other driver was taken to the hospital to be looked over -- and then, not seeming to have serious injuries, was sent home.
The west-bound lanes were closed for hours for the clean up and the investigation.
