DECATUR (1080 KRLD) - A former Wise County youth baseball president is indicted for allegedly stealing money from the organization.

Eric Scott Fletcher is accused of stealing close to $70,000 from the Decatur Baseball League and spending it on his own personal purchases.

The indictment states that this went on from August of 2016 to April of 2019.

Fletcher is charged with property theft of between $30,000 and $150,000; the range of which makes that a second-degree felony.

He is currently free on $10,000 bond.
