
Although the conflict is halfway around the world, Russia's invasion of Ukraine will impact the U.S. in many ways.

First off, we're already seeing the jump in gas prices. Oil and natural gas are not big exports for Ukraine. But Russia? That's another story. And how far will the U.S. and NATO nations go to isolate Putin?
Secondly, Ukraine (the "breadbasket of Europe") is a big exporter of other commodities, like corn and wheat. So we are likely to see corn prices rise along with related goods like cooking oil and livestock feed.
