HAMDEN, Conn. (1010 WINS) — A Connecticut man pulled a gun on two women because he was angry that they did not thank him for holding a Family Dollar store door open for them, police said Sunday.
Joshua Murray, of New Haven, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, two counts of second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a police officer.
Murray opened the door for both women at the Dixwell Avenue store on Saturday around 3:15 p.m. A witness told Hamden Police that Murray was upset that he had not received a thank you.
That's when he allegedly pulled out his gun.

The 25-year-old was located by Officers Joseph Venditto and Timothy Janus on a nearby street and taken into custody, though police said he interfered with the officers during his arrest.
No one was injured during the initial incident or during Murray's arrest, police said.
He is being held on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 2.
