Donald Trump Jr., the outspoken son of former President Donald Trump, received a letter at his home in Florida on Monday that contained a powdery white substance, local officials shared.

Citing two law enforcement sources, CBS News reported that Trump Jr. received the letter and personally opened it. After noticing the substance, he put the letter down and called 911.

Police, fire, and hazmat units responded to Trump Jr.’s residence after receiving the call, some were reportedly wearing protective suits, boots, hoods, and gloves, so they could safely investigate.

So far, field testing results have shown that the substance was not “not deadly,” but more testing is being conducted as the sample has been sent to a laboratory.

Early testing was also inconclusive in identifying the substance.

The US postal service is assisting the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and federal officials in investigating the situation.

“The FBI, along with our local law enforcement partners, responded to an incident involving a suspicious letter sent to an address in Jupiter, Florida,” the FBI Miami field office said in a statement. “We encourage the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.”
