Remember when you first signed up for a social media account, you didn't have any friends or followers, and nothing that you posted got any likes. Then, you started getting them. This app can help with your addiction. It's a fake social media app. You can use the app to post whatever you want, but in real life, no one else sees it. You still get likes from your post to get that hit, but the likes are all fake. It uses your contact list to find people to give you those pretend likes. So, you can see only on your phone that your friends liked what you had to say.
The app's maker says it's a good way to actually start writing a diary, since your posts and thoughts don't go anywhere out in the open.
