But, there are a lot of "Grinches" out there who want nothing more than to use your goodwill against you. They're looking to separate you from your hard-earned money and that feeling of generosity.
This is the busiest time of year for scammers of all different kinds. It can be anything from gift card scams to romance scams to phishing emails. You probably notice a lot more of those attempts this time of year than any other.
