AUSTIN, Texas — The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced a voluntary recall of 24 different raw honey products after lab testing found an undeclared pharmaceutical ingredient linked to erectile dysfunction in some packages.

Health officials say the products may pose serious health risks, especially to people taking nitrates for heart conditions, because the unlisted compound can interact dangerously with certain medications.

The recall involves specific lots of the honey sold in plastic bear containers at retailers and online; consumers are urged not to consume the product and to discard or return it for a refund.

You'll find the full list of all 24 honey products here.

The FDA warning notes that the ingredient was not on the label, raising concerns about undeclared additives in dietary supplements and so-called “natural” products, and officials are monitoring for any reports of adverse events tied to the product.
