In recent weeks, President-elect Donald Trump has been more and more focused on adding territory to American control, particularly Greenland.

The largely icy swath of land to the northeast of America’s northern neighbor Canada, which Trump also appears to covet, has been the subject of a number of comments by the soon-to-be-President at recent rallies and appearances.

But as for how realistic this dream is, America’s current Secretary of State Antony Blinken doesn’t put much stock in it.

Blinken said Trump’s plan to take control of Greenland is “obviously not a good one,” according to Reuters, and predicted it’s “not going to happen.”

Trump has called American control of Greenland an “absolute necessity” for national security and said publicly that he would not rule out using the military to take the land forcefully.

Currently, Denmark controls Greenland and has said it’s not for sale.
