DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- The price of adult beverages is going up on Southwest Airlines flights over the holidays.

The airline has not raised the price for on-board alcoholic beverages in five years. So, Southwest has decided to implement what the airline calls a "...modest changes..." to the pricing of beverages.

These changes will go into effect Thursday, November 15th. Beer is going up a dollar while wine and liquor will be two dollars higher.

Non-alcoholic beverages -- soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea and water -- are still free.
