Reports are now saying Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has become friendly with embattled Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, so friendly that he gifted him a Super Bowl ring.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas was already under scrutiny for his friendship with Dallas real estate mogul Harland Crow. Thomas reportedly went on lavish trips on Crows yacht and stayed at resorts on Crows dime.

Now a New York times report shows that Cowboys Jerry Jones and Thomas struck up a friendship through the years and that Thomas has flown on Jones’s private jet, attended training camp practices, and when the team played in Washington D. C., sat in Jones’ private suite.

Jones even gave Thomas a Super Bowl ring. To be fair Thomas has been a known Cowboys fan. But some are suggesting the justice should be investigated for not reporting these and other gifts.

Thomas has yet to comment.
