You might have to take what Millennials tell you with the largest grain of salt.
New research from casino company PlayStar finds out of 1,306 participants, half male and half female, Millennials (1981-1996) are the biggest liars out of any generation in this country. The study shows 13% of Millennials admitted that they tell at least one lie a day.
A third of Millennials say their resumes are dripping with lies. Nearly 40% say they lie to their bosses to keep from being embarrassed at work.
Around a quarter of those surveyed say they lie on their social media accocunts to make themselves look better.
On the honest side of the ledger, only 2% of Baby Boomers (1946-1964) say they lie daily and only 5% of the Gen Z (1997-2021) and Gen X (1965-1980) group do it.
One exception, 21% of Gen Z'ers also lies on their social media accounts.
