Two southeast Texas teenage girls are accused of planning to attack a high school.

The FBI and police say the 15 and 16-year-olds were planning to place pipe bombs in Memorial High School in the Spring Branch ISD and shoot students. Law enforcement arrested the pair within 30 minutes of becoming aware.

The 16-year-old had attended Memorial High but was going to an alternative school in the district for students who fall behind. She is charged with making a terroristic threat, a third-degree felony in Harris County.

The younger one, a Willis High School student, was taken into the custody of the Montgomery County Sheriff's office.
