The only Texas team in the Little League World Series takes the field tonight in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
From Abilene, the Wylie Little League all-star team will take on their counterparts from Washington State.
Wylie is led by their catcher, Ella Bruning, who is just the 20th girl to appear in the Little League series, 37 years after the first, Victoria Roche from Belgium.
An MLB Instagram video has nearly two-million views showing Ella pouncing on an un-caught third strike and rifling a throw to first base to nip a speedy runner.
Bruning also pitches and plays other sports, too. Just last week, she traveled to Oklahoma City for a major regional softball tournament.
